Biography

Mr. Runstadler was admitted to practice before the State Bar of Michigan in 1973. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts for the 6th Circuit, the State of Florida and the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Runstadler has extensive experience in advising clients, from both the legal and human perspective, and litigating issues involving federal and local income taxes, estate and gift taxes, probate, estate, business and real estate law. He is frequently involved in organizing, transferring, merging and resolving ownership and management issues of business entities. His estate planning practice includes the design and preparation of estate plans, succession planning, charitable planning, probate and estate administration, tax preparation, and litigation involving probate, estates, tax, and general business matters.

His professional involvements include membership in Michigan, Florida and American Bar Associations. He is an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Cooley Law School and Walsh College and formerly of the Detroit College of Law. He has authored and presented material for the Michigan Bar Association, International Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Michigan Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
